Long-Term Course

Kyoto Minsai Japanese Language School offers a Long-Term Course where students can immerse themselves in Japanese language learning for a period of 1 to 2 years. It includes intensive preparation for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) and specialized courses tailored to each student’s individual career or educational path. Additionally, the course is enriched with elective subjects and supplementary classes for a well-rounded learning experience.

Emphasizing cultural immersion, Kyoto Minsai provides a variety of activities in its curriculum. Students can delve into the essence of Japanese culture through classes in traditional arts like the Japanese Tea Ceremony, Kado, calligraphy, and cooking, as well as contemporary interests like anime, manga, Shogi, Japanese music, martial arts, and more. The school also hosts various events including cultural festivals, speech and kanji contests, and Japanese song festivals, offering students ample opportunities to enjoy and learn the language in a dynamic setting. Regular interactions with Japanese youth enhance language skills and cultural understanding.

Students enrolled in this Long-Term Course at Kyoto Minsai will require a student visa, which also allows them to work part-time for up to 28 hours per week, subject to obtaining the necessary permissions. The course is conducted at the Tenjingawa school, ensuring students benefit from a comprehensive and immersive learning experience at one of Kyoto’s leading Japanese language institutions.

Kyoto Minsai Japanese Language School offers various accommodation options to suit the needs of both long-term and short-term students. For long-term students, private and shared dormitory options are available, with rents starting at 29,000 Yen per month. These dormitories are conveniently located, with some just a minute’s walk from the school. Short-term students can choose from private rooms starting at 3,000 Yen per day, shared rooms, or homestay options, providing a more immersive experience. All accommodations are equipped with essential facilities, and utility fees are included in the rent. For a seamless experience, move-in and move-out days are on weekdays. Students have access to local amenities like supermarkets, convenience stores, and drugstores, ensuring a comfortable stay while studying at Kyoto Minsai.
