COURSES

Standard Study Abroad Course

The Standard Study Abroad Course at ARC Tokyo Japanese Language School is designed for students seeking long-term language mastery with student visa support. The structured program balances communication, grammar, reading, writing and listening lessons with cultural activities and practical language application. Students are placed by proficiency level and progress through terms aligned with the Japanese academic calendar. This course is ideal for those aiming to enhance fluency for university entrance, career opportunities or deeper integration into Japanese society.

Intensive & Practical Japanese Course

ARC Tokyo also offers an Intensive Japanese Course for short-term learners or residents who do not require a student visa. This course focuses on practical Japanese used in daily life, work and travel, helping students improve communicative ability quickly. Other specialized classes—such as Business Japanese, exam preparation (JLPT/EJU), and workplace communication—are available to support specific goals. With flexible durations and ongoing start dates, learners can tailor study plans to personal schedules while living in Tokyo.

ACCOMMODATION

Student Dormitory / Shared Housing

ARC Tokyo Japanese Language School helps students find student dormitories, shared housing or nearby apartments. These accommodations typically offer private or shared rooms with communal facilities like kitchens and lounges. Living close to the school in central Tokyo makes commuting easy and supports daily Japanese practice with classmates. This option suits both long-term learners and short-term residents, providing convenience and a supportive student community. School staff can assist with housing placement, information about the local area and guidance on procedures for securing rental arrangements in Tokyo’s competitive market.

Homestay

For deeper cultural immersion, homestay placements with Japanese host families can be arranged, giving students daily conversational practice and firsthand experience of Japanese lifestyle and customs. Homestay usually includes a private bedroom and may include meals depending on the arrangement. This type of accommodation is especially beneficial for short-term learners or first-time visitors to Japan who want structured, everyday language use outside the classroom. Homestays are coordinated to ensure convenient access to the school and a safe, supportive environment for learners.
