COURSES

Short-Term Japanese Course

The Short-Term Japanese Course at ISI Language School Osaka is designed for students who want to build practical communication skills in Japan within a short period (from 2 weeks). Courses focus on everyday Japanese, listening, speaking, grammar and vocabulary that are useful for daily life, travel or pre-long-term study preparation. Multiple start dates throughout the year make this course flexible and convenient. Lessons are taught in small to moderate class sizes, and cultural activities and social events help reinforce learning in real-world contexts. This option is ideal for travelers, working holiday participants or anyone not requiring a student visa for stays under 6 months.

Long-Term Japanese Course

The Long-Term Japanese Course at ISI Language School Osaka supports full-time study with student visa assistance. Covering more than 20 weeks, this program develops comprehensive Japanese skills—speaking, reading, writing and listening—while offering JLPT preparation and elective classes tailored to student goals. The curriculum is suitable for learners planning to enter Japanese universities, vocational schools or to pursue employment in Japan. With regular intake periods and support services such as academic advising and career guidance, students can build long-term proficiency and confidence. Students also participate in cultural and social activities that enhance understanding of Japan beyond language instruction.

ACCOMMODATION

Student Dormitory / Shared Housing

While ISI Language School Osaka itself does not operate on-campus dormitories, the school provides support and guidance for students to find nearby shared housing or student residences. These accommodations usually offer private rooms with shared common areas such as kitchens and lounges, allowing students to live independently while building social connections. Shared housing is practical for both short-term and long-term stays, and its central Osaka location makes commuting to school, shops and transport hubs easy. Students can practice Japanese daily with peers and enjoy Osaka’s vibrant lifestyle all within walking or short transit distance.

Homestay

Homestay placements with Japanese host families are also available for those seeking deeper cultural immersion and daily language practice outside the classroom. Students live with a local family, typically in private rooms, and may receive meals depending on the host arrangement. This option is ideal for short-term learners and first-time Japan visitors who want structured language exposure and support in an authentic Japanese home environment. Homestay experiences help students understand cultural norms, local customs and everyday conversation, enhancing overall language learning and cultural adaptation while studying in Osaka.
