COURSES
Intensive Japanese Course
Lexis Japan’s Intensive Japanese Course offers high-quality instruction for all levels from beginner to advanced, focusing on balanced development of speaking, writing, reading and listening skills. The curriculum uses communicative teaching methods and real-world materials to ensure that learners can apply Japanese in everyday settings, work and travel. Courses run from 1–24 weeks, with options for full-time (20 hours/week), part-time or evening study to match different schedules. The program includes level testing and ongoing academic support to help students progress effectively and confidently.
JLPT Preparation & Specialized Courses
Lexis Japan also offers JLPT Preparation Courses designed to help students successfully pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test at various levels. These academically-focused lessons target reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary and test-taking techniques. Additional options include custom private tuition for learners with specific language goals and Evening Communicative Japanese for Kobe residents who want flexible class times. Homestay stays are typically within commuting distance of the Lexis campus and allow learners to build their Japanese skills naturally via daily conversation with host families.
Shared / Private Housing
For students who prefer independence, Lexis Japan can assist in finding shared housing or private apartments near the school. Shared housing usually provides private rooms with communal kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces, making it a social and cost-effective option. Private apartments offer more autonomy and are suited to learners who plan to stay longer or prefer personal space.
