When I was younger, my interest in Japan started when I watched my first anime and Japanese drama. I ended up falling in love with the language and the different cultural aspects of different parts of the country.

I saw one picture of Otaru in the snow and decided to come to Sapporo. I love snow, and Sapporo was just calling to me.

Yes. I met my current fiancé/partner when I came to study at JaLS for the first time. I walked into his class, and the rest is history. We made so many new friends, which in turn made me keep coming back to JaLS to continue my studies. So far, I’ve been back 4 times and plan on coming back many more times.
- WHAT IS YOUR DREAM?

I would love to be good enough to use Japanese at work, maybe translate, or work for a company where I could be beneficial in knowing the Japanese. I don’t want it to go to waste.
