Nagoya JaLS share houses are budget-friendly student residences where you live with other international students and sometimes Japanese housemates. You have your own single bedroom while sharing facilities like bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas, making daily life social and collaborative. This option encourages language practice and friendship building with other residents. The share houses are generally located a bit farther from campus (about 20–40 minutes commute) but remain affordable for longer stays (minimum one month). There are no meals included, but you can cook in a shared kitchen.
- 60,000 JPY per month or 2,000 JPY per night beyond 1 month.

Private apartments through Nagoya JaLS provide independent living for students who prefer privacy and flexibility. In these weekly or monthly apartments, you have your own single room, private bathroom, and kitchen, allowing full control over your daily routine and study environment. Although this option tends to be more expensive than shared housing or homestays, it suits students who prioritize quiet, self-directed living. Apartments require a minimum stay (typically one month) and are conveniently located within a manageable commute to school. This choice offers freedom to host friends, cook for yourself, and live at your own pace.
