COURSES

Long-Term Course

NIA’s Long-Term Japanese Course is designed for learners living in Japan who want to develop balanced Japanese skills—from basic communication to advanced levels—over a longer period. The curriculum allows students to strengthen listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities through structured classes and communicative practice. Placement is determined by a level check test to ensure students join classes suited to their proficiency. This long-term program is well-suited for those planning extended stays in Japan, working holiday holders looking to improve their language for daily and professional life, and learners aiming for deeper cultural integration.

Short-Term & Practical Courses

NIA also offers Short-Term Courses for students on short-term visas, working holiday visas, family visas or other temporary stays in Japan. These courses focus on practical Japanese for everyday communication and cultural understanding, and can be joined for periods as short as one week. Lesson formats include morning, afternoon and evening classes to suit different schedules, and students are placed in appropriate class levels based on a level check. Additionally, courses are available specifically for residents of Japan, designed to help learners apply Japanese in daily life settings, including conversational and business contexts.

ACCOMMODATION

Student Dormitory / Housing

NIA provides student dormitory accommodation near the school for learners enrolled in its programs. One dormitory option is available at approximately ¥30,000 per month per person, with utilities and internet included. Rooms are shared (three people per room, approx. 20.63 m²) and located about 20 minutes from the school by train. There are additional costs such as an entrance fee (¥20,000) and bedding (¥7,000). NIA can also introduce other dormitories near the school if students prefer alternative housing. These accommodations support learners during their study and help facilitate daily life in Nagoya.
