The Standard Course features morning-only classes, running 3 hours per day, 5 days a week, for a total of 15 hours per week. Afternoons are intentionally left free for self-study, city exploration, or daily life in Tokyo, allowing students to naturally apply what they learn in class. ACCOMMODATION
Share House
Tokyo JaLS share houses offer an affordable way to live in Tokyo while studying Japanese. You get your own private room but share bathrooms, kitchen, and living spaces with other students and sometimes Japanese housemates. This setup is perfect for those who want a community atmosphere and lots of social interaction. Students must stay at least 1 month, and cooking is self-catered. It’s a cost-effective choice with a manageable commute of 40–60 minutes to school by public transport.

Private apartments provide the most independence with a furnished single room, private bathroom, and kitchen. This option is great for students wanting privacy and freedom to cook and host visitors. Commute times vary but are usually 40–60 minutes. Available from 1 week stays.

Homestay
